Our Final Projects are a real challenge. As part of a small team of students operating as junior consultants, you will be required to find a company which is either operating in the field of hospitality or has close ties with it, and that is willing to provide you with an assignment. You and your team will work on a management problem confronting the company and you will give the company advice on how to approach the matter. The topics that students deal with include commercial activities, staffing, organisational design and future strategies.

To a certain extent, the assignments that are presented are a reflection of general economical and societal developments, and developments within the Hospitality Industry. In times of economic growth, many assignments focus on new activities for existing companies, or on initiatives to start new companies. Recently, the wellness trend and the introduction of the hospitality concept in medical care are reflected in the assignments presented by our students.

Participating companies

As a student, you will decide which company to approach. During recent years our students have managed to acquire assignments from many well known companies, not only in the Netherlands but also abroad. Here a the names of a number of some of the companies: Golden Tulip Hotels Head Office, Inns and Resorts; Hyatt International regional Head Office; Schiphol Group; Center Parcs Head Office; Landal Green Parcs Head Office; hotels from the Accor Group and Starwood, and Catering Companies like Sodexho, to name but a few.
