Beneficial to the Industry

The students receive support from the Hotelschool in two ways: the Project Office guides the students through the first stages of preparation and acquisition of an assignment, in addition to fulfilling an administrative function. When an assignment has been accepted by Hotelschool The Hague, and the three parties involved have agreed to cooperate, the students are assigned two project tutors who play an important role as coaches, monitoring the quality of process and content for which students themselves have the final responsibilty. The Final Project is a final challenge that gives our students the opportunity to demonstrate that they have acquired the knowledge, attitude and behaviour needed to enable them to tackle actual management problems in a professional way.

• On average, students need between four and to six months to write a Plan of Approach, to gather secondary and primary data, to formulate an advice, to write a report, and to prepare their defence.
• The costs involved are low: the Hotelschool requires a fee € 200, and the students are allowed a maximum budget of € 800.

We would like to stress that we expect our students to produce a professional result. The Final Project, that our students experience as a real challenge, makes them highly motivated to perform at their very best. We are very grateful that all kinds of companies are willing to cooperate with the Hotelschool and offer our students a great opportunity to learn.
